After you install Open "Command Window Here" free from Microsoft.
microsoft xp power toys
Open My Computer and go to the folder you want a print out of.
Click on the Folder
Right click on the folder and choose "Open Command Window Here"
The old dos box will appear already in that folder.
Type
dir /s >> mystuff1.txt or dir /s>mystuff1.txt or without sub folder dir /b>mystuff1.txt
hit the enter key
Then type
start mystuff1.txt
hit the enter key
Note pad will open showing the contents,size and other information for you.
